Citizen Miyota Co., Ltd.

Located at the foot of Mt. Asama in the beautiful Japan Alps, Citizen Miyota was established in 1959 as a manufacturer of electronic wrist watches. Today, Citizen Miyota manufactures electronic visual devices such as CCD camera modules, quartz crystal oscillators, backlights, and electronic viewfinders in addition to electronic wrist watches. Citizen Miyota's experience as a high quality and high volume manufacturer has allowed them to expand their business into new areas.

Displaytech FLCOS microdisplays, designed by Micron and manufactured by Citizen Miyota, are the key element in one of their new businesses, electronic viewfinders, which are sold by Citizen Miyota under a license agreement with Micron. Through this agreement Citizen Miyota has successfully manufactured and sold more than 15 million FLCOS microdisplays. Citizen Miyota has become the world leader in LCOS production (foundry) services. These LCOS foundry services are provided from its factory in Kitamimaki, Japan and its factory in Gaungxi, China.

シチズンミヨタ株式会社

美しい日本アルプス浅間山の麓に位置するシチズンミヨタ㈱は 1959 年に電子腕時計の生産工場として創立しました。今日、シチズンミヨタは電子腕時計に加え CCD カメラモジュール、水晶デバイス、バックライト及び電子ビューファインダ等の電子映像デバイスを製造します。受け継がれてきた高品質・大量生産の経験を生かし新分野へも参入しています。ディスプレイテックが設計、シチズンミヨタが製造を担う強誘電液晶・オン・シリコン (FLCOS) モジュールは彼らの新規ビジネスの一つである電子ビューファインダの心臓部で、ディスプレイテックのライセンスを受けてシチズンミヨタが販売しています。シチズンミヨタとディスプレイテックは既に 1 千 5 百万台以上の LCOS マイクロディスプレイの製造・販売を果たしました。シチズンミヨタは、世界のLCOS製造（ファウンドリ）サービスのリーダー的存在となりました。LCOSファウンドリ・サービスは長野県北御牧事業所および中国梧州の自社工場にて行われます。
