Overview
The Displaytech LightView 311k Display Module (LV311k) is the world's first single-chip near-eye display solution. It is designed for all digital still camera and video camcorder viewfinder applications, as well as any portable consumer electronic device needing excellent image quality in a low-power, compact package.
The LV311k Display Module is a complete display solution, incorporating the microdisplay panel with integrated interface and control circuitry, as well as the LED illumination and polarization optics. This product takes advantage of the fast switching speeds and superior optical qualities of our patented Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal (FLC) materials, delivering bright, high quality full color images. The LV311k uses industry standard digital interfaces for seamless integration into almost any application. The module features a 432 x 240 pixel format, yielding an effective resolution equal to 311,000 color dots utilizing field sequential color technology.

Specifications
The LightView 311k is a 0.26-inch diagonal FLC on reflective CMOS microdisplay with 432 x 240 pixel display resolution. Each pixel has full 24-bit color depth, and the display operates at a frame rate of 120 Hz (360 Hz RGB field rate) to provide flicker free, full color video imaging. With a fill factor greater than 90% and the use of "triad-free" color technology, the display yields smooth images without the screen door effect found in transmissive TFT-LCD panels.
The LV311k Digital Display Module accepts CCIR 601 and CCIR 656 digital video standards, as well as 8-bit digital video formatted to 432 x 240 to fit the display.
